Shayeann Day-Wilson made a statement in her Team Canada National Team debut averaging 30 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in her first two games of the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2021. The 5”6’ point guard shot 92% from the free throw line to help Canada go 1-1 in the first two games of the tournament. The Toronto, ON native just completed a successful high school career at Crestwood Secondary School. She has also become the first athlete to achieve NIL deal in Canada as a NCAA Duke athlete.
