Nicki Minaj Ex-Stylist Asks Judge To Turn Down Plea To Seal Video

The battle between Nicki Minaj and her ex-stylist rages on as the tension has now boiled over to four months of court. According to The Blast, Minaj’s ex-stylist, Maher Jridi, is demanding the judge not give the New York hip hop artist any favors due to her celebrity status.

Jridi sued Minaj accusing her of refusing to return expensive clothes. She counter-sued claiming he overcharged her.

Jridi is wants Minaj’s demands to be shut down for a protective order in the case. She claimed to fear the release of her videotaped deposition, but Jridi believes this is not enough of an argument.

He states, “Here, Defendant has not satisfied her burden for a protective order …. Rather than provide the appropriate factual showing for entitlement to the relief she seeks, Defendant simply asks for special treatment by virtue of her celebrity status.”

Nicki Minaj began working with the stylist during 2017 and he claims to have rented a bunch of outfits from a wardrobe company for her.
