Doja Cat is quickly becoming a fan favorite during this quarantine time for her entertaining ways on Instagram. It has only added to her rising status in the music world.

Being a female artist in hip hop seems to always being compared to Nicki Minaj and other artists. She has shown that she is a talented artist that can mix both singing and rapping.

Recently, a drawing was made of Doja, Nicki Minaj, and Megan Thee Stallion on a Rolling Stone cover together. This drawing drew the ire of Barbz who didn’t take too kindly to Doja Cat’s inclusion. At one point, a Doja Cat fan responded to one of the Barbz which led Doja Cat to say “Stop responding to them they’re twitter gangsters and they have nothing kind to say about you or anyone. they live and breathe being fuckin immature.”

This caused some people to think the fans of Nicki Minaj who are known as “The Barbz” would take offense to the comment by Doja Cat.

Of course, Nicki’s stans were upset over the statement and immediately started the hashtag, “DojaCatIsOverParty.” Unfortunately, it didn’t really became strong online due to Doja Cat didn’t really have anything that is cancel culture appropriate.
