Nicki Minaj and Beyonce are the two most dominant female artists for their respective genres in the last decade. Minaj has been pitted every top woman in the game by fans and critics with the exception of her friend Beyonce. However, the singles of “Savage” and “Say So” have now pitted them via their collaborations with new stars on the rise in Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat.
This all changed in the last week when rumors started swirling that Nicki Minaj was jealous of Beyonce’s marriage to rap legend Jay Z. It was rooted in a statement by Minaj geared towards body shaming and somehow people were relating it to Beyonce. There was a debate during the week on the popular Joe Budden Podcast about the two popular women.
The gossip spread to alternate media outlets as some believed Nicki Minaj was also throwing shade at Jay Z for cheating on the songstress Beyonce.
By the end of the week though, Nicki Minaj showed praise to Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion by addressing the possibility of four women taking the top 4 spots for next week’s Billboard charts. Check it out below.
