The legacy of Nipsey Hussle surpasses the hip hop world as the fallen artist gets paid homage by Puma with his own shoes again.
The rapper was on his way in making a difference in the business world with his clothing line, but faced an untimely death. One of the fashion moves he was making had to do with Puma in 2019 just before his passing. He was going to be one of the faces of the franchise.
His passing didn’t prevent the release of a few Puma x The Marathon Continues collabs, and now, we are getting another.
The new collaboration will feature the Puma Ralph Sampson, as well as the Puma RS-X. This is a great mix of silhouettes as one represents the new era of Puma, while the other represents a more classic era of the brand.
The first co-branded The Marathon Collection launched in Fall 2019. 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of their inaugural capsule went to Nipsey’s Neighborhood ‘Nip’ Foundation.
The new TMC x Puma RS-X and Ralph Sampson Low colorways will be released tomorrow, Nov. 4 at Puma.com and at select Puma retailers, with prices ranging from $90 to $120.
The uppers are both covered in white, while some navy blue and red are placed throughout. Both shoes have Nipsey’s signature in gold on the heel counter, which is most definitely a nice touch.
