Tupac Shakur appeared as a hologram ten years ago and now the iconic Biggie Smalls gets one a decade later. 2022 would have seen the New York rapper turn 50 if it wasn’t for his untimely death back in 1997. The industry and fans have kept his legacy alive through the decades.Diddy and Lil Kim has commemorated  The Notorious B.I.G.‘ s life after nearly 25 years since he was gunned down in Los Angeles.  Proto Inc. (a holoportation company allowing people to “beam” in real-time to places where they can’t physically be) teams up with the aforementioned to create a hologram of Biggie.

The Queen of England recently had a hologram during her jubilee.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is an Advisor to the interactive startup, according to Black Enterprise. The Biggie hologram has caused a divisive discussion amongst fans of the late rapper.  Some find it morbid, while others were surprised at how realistic it looked.

“That Biggie hologram looked toooo realistic,” tweeted one person on Twitter. Another user wrote, “That Biggie hologram is weird. Let that man rest in peace.”
