It was a long winding road for Janet Hubert on having her reputation repaired after having a huge fallout with Will Smith. Everyone remembers Hubert for her iconic role of “Aunt Viv” on the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.
The seasoned actress was let go from the series when she would not re-sign to a contract due to financial differences. It would soon be learned that Will Smith did not fight for the rest of the cast to have better deals, but especially Hubert.
It would lead to the veteran in acting to being blackballed for years. She received the reputation of being someone who was difficult to work with on set due to her last days on set.
During the Fresh Prince Prince of Bel Air Reunion, it would be revealed Hubert was going through a tough pregnancy at the time and her husband not being employed at the time. It was a heart-wrenching moment during the historic reunion.
