
The life and times of Tupac Shakur has always been of interest to fans of hip hop and even the genre of movies. FX has announced that the son of Black Panther will get a new documentary series along with his mother Afeni Shakur. Stay tuned for Outlaw: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur, a five-episode series directed by Allen Hughes according to a report from Vibe magazine.
“Told through the eyes of the people who knew them best, Outlaw is an intimate wide-angle portrait of the most inspiring and dangerous mother-son duo in American history, whose unified message of freedom, equality, persecution and justice are more relevant today than ever,” FX said in a press release.

As reported on WWETV a few months ago, the director Allen Hughes got access from the Tupac Estate to released and unreleased recordings, writings and poetry back in May of this year. An official announcement is expected in the coming months.
