Mase was a star in the hip hop world in the 1990’s. The “Harlem World” rapper left the music industry at the height of his popularity to follow his calling as minister for Christ.

The former Bad Boy artist received flack from friends and industry associates for calling out the music business for its flawed and crooked nature. Kanye West has followed suit in the last couple of years and has turned on secular hip hop.

Mase has now heard the cries of Kanye’s recent rant against the system and proclaiming himself the “New Moses” and believes the billionaire rapper owes him an apology as Kanye announced on social media that he is creating a Christian Academy.

Kanye’s lyrics in “Devil In a New Dress,” used Mase in a punchline with the saying,
“Remember your famous line, ‘Don’t leave when you hot [that’s how Mase screwed up]’?” he wrote.

Mase is now calling out Kanye West for hypocrisy for calling him out for leaving the music business for the reasons Ye is rebelling against now.

“You owe me (and my family) a public #apology and then some, if anyone owes you one,” he declared. “For alluding to the fact that me following God at the height of my career was a bad decision.”

“Much of what you are feeling has been expressed before,” he shared on Instagram. “But when I was saying it, the same system and mindset that you are fighting against today, used you to shame me for leaving the very same system!”
