Pressa Of Toronto Gets Platinum Plaque For Attachments

The song “Attachments” by Pressa has given the Toronto hip hop artist an elusive accomplishment not seen by many street rappers from his city.

Who would’ve known that “Attachments” would bring Pressa closer to Coi Leray and the two would become a modern day hip hop couple. The song has also now given the rap artist from the Jane and Finch area of Toronto, a platinum plaque. It has been reported by Toronto vlogger Rocboyninja.

The standout track from his EP Gardner Express, which dropped last December, “Attachments” has garned over 12 million streams and reached Gold certfication in Canada. The original sees Pressa recount his perilous experiences coming up in Toronto’s Driftwood neighbourhood over a floaty trap beat (courtesy of Itsnell), with a guest verse by Taliban Glizzy.

Pressa also appeared on The Breakfast Club to promote the deluxe version of the project. During the discussion, Pressa informed the radio station that he created a wave in Canada and Europe before entering the United States.

“Nah, y’all know me for that. America probably knows me for that,” Pressa replied to Envy’s inquiry about fans knowing him to be the “Twinem” lyricist boyfriend. “So, America, that’s probably what y’all know me as right now, but where I’m from I am a legend. Like Canada, even Europe, I am a super legend man.”

The Toronto hip hop artist has surpassed expectations by some authorities with his hip hop success. A news exclusive from the Toronto Sun also alleges police believed Pressa, who was 20-years-old at the time, was a leader in a local gang called Young Buck Killas.
