This week’s WorldWide Entertainment TV From The Vault throwback is with Toronto rapper Pressa. WWETV gave him his first interview ever alongside Robin Banks. The interview took place on the day of their close friend Wah see’s funeral. They were hyping their upcoming music video at the time “Wass Gang”. Check out this worldwide exclusive.

Pressa would reveal in a later interview with Vladtv that he chained Wassi’s little brother. Pressa would go on to become a platinum selling artist in Canada. He would also move to Los Angeles to expand his career in the United States after having great response in Great Britain.

In an interview with Complex about how some may view his path in music, Pressa stated, “Everybody’s situation is different but the real advice I have is to just keep working and dropping music. Just keep recording and don’t get caught up in the crossfire. Stay out of trouble and stay out of the streets, because the police are out there”.

The mainstream press in Canada such as Globe and Mail once toted the Jane and Finch rapper as not having a chance in the music business due to his past run in with the law. The media outlet reported that the “City of Toronto figures show that the Driftwood area is the least livable community in the city, based on an aggregation of scores for education, employment, mortality and other criteria. Unemployment is roughly twice the national average”.

His single “Attachments” would feature Coi Leray and Benzino’s daughter would end up in a relationship with the Toronto hip hop artist.

The latest in rumors has him entering the acting world with the help of 50 Cent’s G-unit member Tony Yayo. Fans are already speculating if they will see him on the popular Power universe or the second season of BMF.
