Soon Chicago will be partying like it’s 1999 as it glows in purple this summer when Prince: The Immersive Experience makes its worldwide debut. Tickets go on sale March 31 at 10 a.m. CT. It will run through Oct. 9 in Chicago.

“You’re going to be able to step in in a Purple Rain album cover,” Superfly co-founder Kerry Black tells Rolling Stone. “Where you can get your photo up on the motorcycle. But we’re also doing a full buildout of the entire street scene, right? So there’s going to be the First Avenue club and a bunch of the stores.”

Prince: The Immersive Experience is a multisensory celebration of this musical genius. Much like Paisley Park — Prince’s studio and home that now runs as a museum— this experience will take visitors on a trip across various multidimensional spaces that will glow with the late artist’s creative and career development, according to organizers.
