The legendary gospel group, The Clark Sisters, are coming to the small screen according to TV One. The movie will detail their humble beginnings, struggles to find their place, to later becoming the best-selling Gospel group in the music world.  We will get to see what made Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Jacky Clark-Chisholm, and  Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell into the gospel legends they are.

TV One attributes the executive producers of Queen Latifah,  Missy Elliott and  Mary J. Blige, for bringing us trailer in which Kelly Rowland  explains how the legendary gospel group had impacted not only gospel music, but the entire music world.

“The music, their voices inspired me in a way that is just so deeply embedded and woven into the artist that I am today, for sure,” Rowland says in part in the new promo. “They broke down barriers as far as sound is concerned, as far as style was concerned.”
