The Surviving R.Kelly docuseries exposed the home as an abode that kept women in captivity with regulations placed by the singer. One of the rules was having to ask permission to use the bathroom, require meals, and had to refer to him as “Daddy.”

Kelly has denied all of the allegations made against him since the explosive docuseries aired on Lifetime in January of 2019. He currently awaits a federal trial in Chicago, where he has also been in federal custody since July 11th, 2019.
