The defending NBA Champions were glad to reach back on their own turf, but the Toronto Raptors had plans on defeating the depleted roster of Golden State Warriors.

Stephen Curry did his best in trying to lead the Golden State Warriors to victory on Wednesday, but it was not meant to be.

The two-time MVP couldn’t topple the Toronto Raptors even though he scored a playoff career high of 47 points, the Warriors fell 123 – 109 in defeat.

Toronto had six players score in double figures as the squad stepped up to do their best for victory.

Steph Curry played like the NBA All-Star that he is by scoring 17 points in the first quarter. It still never made up for the lack of star power from the super team. Game 5 occurs on Friday.
