As music fans await the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole Verzuz battle soon coming, the industry may be gearing to see another rap showdown.
According to reports, Travis Scott and Future will be the hip hop artists to participate in the popular series. Recently news broke that Timbaland, who is a co-creator of Verzuz, and his team are working on securing Travis Scott and Future for a hit battle of their own. DJ Akademiks shared a post to his Instagram page that claims Timbaland’s manager is the source of the potential Travis Scott and Future Verzuz battle.
The reaction has been mixed for this Verzuz possibility because of the career disparity of length of careers. Future’s, 37, and been in the rap game since the early 2000s, while 28-year-old Travis Scott’s career started around 2012.
Of course, social media let it be known who will win this encounter already despite it not being official.

That’s a terrible Verzuz and I enjoy Travis Scott. Future got too many hits from when Travis was still skipping classes and subsequently dropping out of college.
