Jimmy Kimmel has made a public statement concerning his past performances under blackface. The talk show host has come under fire for projects he did in the past which included Chris Rock and imitating Snoop Dogg.
According to TMZ, the host stated, “In each case, I thought of them as impersonations of celebrities and nothing more. Looking back, many of these sketches are embarrassing, and it is frustrating that these thoughtless moments have become a weapon used by some to diminish my criticisms of social and other injustices.”
Kimmel states he has learned from his past mistakes and he will stand up for what’s right. “I won’t be bullied into silence by those who feign outrage to advance their oppressive and genuinely racist agendas.”He concludes by saying his current summer vacation has been planned for more than a year and is not related to his current racism controversy.

Cancel him. Megyn Kelly was excoriated for talking about black face. This guy was in full face and body make up. Let alone the racist voice he used. What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.
