The Verzuz battles have been quite entertaining for fans of music as they get to see their favorite artists celebrate their catalogs in a friendly showdown. However, the platform has not really catered to the newer generation of artists, but could that all change?
In a recent interview, the 27-year-old rapper/singer and one half of the rap duo, Rae Sremmurd, said that he and his brother Slim Jxmmi would be down to a battle against the Migos. “That would be good because they got some hits: we got some hits.” He continued, “That would be fun… They’d have to cut us all a nice little check. That’s gonna be action-packed. You know we gonna turn up.”
Quavo, one-third of Migos, responded to Lee’s request by posting a video of them in the studio with the caption, “Swae Don’t Want That Smoke”.
Producer Mike Will Made-It, who signed Rae Sremmurd in 2013 also chimed in on the potential battle.

They haven't been in the game long enough for it to be exciting, not enough classic hits.
