Sean Connery, best known for his role as James Bond, has passed away at the age of 90. According to BBC, the Scottish actor died peacefully in his sleep while staying in the Bahamas.
His son, Jason reports that Connery has been “unwell for some time”. He also said, that his father “had many of his family who could be in the Bahamas.” He continued, “A sad day for all who knew and loved my dad and a sad loss for all people around the world who enjoyed the wonderful gift he had as an actor.”
Connery has been acting for nearly five decades and won an Oscar in 1988 for his role in the hit movie “The Untouchables”. His is also known for his roles in “The Hunt for Red October”, “Highlander”, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”
