Remy Ma had dropped some of the most savage diss tracks in female rap history directed at Nicki Minaj, but in 2022 that is all behind her.
The City Girls and Nicki Minaj had been at odds with one another until last week, when comments she made allowed them to solve their issues. It was implied Miami and JT made some comments about Nicki on social media years ago, and now Miami said the whole situation was something of a wake-up call about trolling.
“Be careful of the things you say ‘cause it might catch up with you one day,” she told the Neighborhood Talk. “I would tell my younger self to just stop trolling, stop being childish, grow up and be mindful of the things you say because everybody is human.”
As for Yung Miami, she’s released a pair of songs outside of City Girls over the past few months. The first was “Scrub Tha Ground” with Quavo and the second was “Rap Freaks” which included a line that greatly amused Megan Thee Stallion.
Nicki Minaj has been making the rounds on social media and has even given the smaller vlogs interviews, but it was TMZ that asked the big question. The outlet bumped into Remy Ma and asked the “Lean Back” artist if she would patch things up with Nicki Minaj.
“If you haven’t noticed, Nicki and the City Girls have made up, is there any way you might be looking to possibly reconcile with Nicki?” the TMZ reporter asked her.
Remy was quick to answer as she smiled. “I don’t have any issues with anybody, I’ve been chilling,” she said as she smiled and walked away.
Could fans see a huge collaboration between the two women? Remy Ma has recently made some acting gigs on shows such as ABC Queens. She has also started an all female rap battle league. Could we see her step back into the booth with Nicki Minaj?
