“Paid in Full” is a 2002 crime drama film directed by Charles Stone III and starring Wood Harris, Mekhi Phifer, and Cam’ron. The film is based on the true story of the rise and fall of a group of young men who became major players in the Harlem drug trade in the 1980s.
The film follows the story of Ace (played by Wood Harris), a quiet and reserved young man who starts out as a low-level employee at a dry cleaning business in Harlem. After meeting and befriending his cousin’s friend, Mitch (played by Mekhi Phifer), Ace becomes involved in the drug trade and begins to rise through the ranks. With the help of Mitch and his friend Rico (played by Cam’ron), Ace builds a successful drug empire, but their success is short-lived as they soon become embroiled in violence and betrayal.

As the drug trade becomes more dangerous, the three men must navigate a web of rival dealers, corrupt cops, and greedy associates, all while trying to keep their business afloat. In the end, they pay a heavy price for their crimes, with some of them ending up dead or in jail, and others forced to live with the consequences of their actions.
