The Detroit rap legend sends an apology to the woman who has collaborated with him on some of his biggest songs such as “Love The Way You Lie”. He apologizes for “siding” with Chris Brown after his 2009 assault of the singer, which he claims in a decade-old leaked song.
It must have been shocking for Rihanna to hear the 2009 leaked song. Slim Shady dropped the line of “And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna/For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri,” He explained he didn’t mean to add to her trauma and grief saying “It wasn’t meant to cause you grief/Regardless, it was wrong of me.”
