RIP Dancehall Legend & Actor Louie “Ox” Rankin

WorldWide Entertainment TV is sad to announce the passing of the legendary dancehall artist Louie “Ox” Rankin born Leonard Forbes. Born in Jamaica in the parish of St. Thomas and grew up in Rockfort, Warika Hill and East Kingston. He passed away in a head on car collision in Whitby, Ontario.

In the early 1990’s he was heavily known in the dancehall scene for battling the likes of Supercat and more. He would later become an established actor in underground cult classics such as Belly and Shottas acting alongside other legendary artists such as Nas, DMX, and more. His fans are sending their condolences to him and his family on his official Instagram account.

Louie “Ox” Rankin recently was interviewed by WWETV 6ix and explained he had plans on coming back to the music world with a new album that was endorsed by DJ Khaled. He also spoke about his role in predicting the Toronto Raptors winning the NBA Championship.
