#WCW music video pick of the week goes to Young Ezee paying tribute to Queen Latifah and the classic Set It Off movie with Jada Pinkett-Smith. The music video has been added to WorldWide Video Zone rotation.
“Set It Off” is a crime thriller movie that was released in 1996. The movie tells the story of four women from Los Angeles who are tired of living in poverty and decide to start robbing banks in order to improve their lives.
The four women are Frankie (Vivica A. Fox), Stony (Jada Pinkett Smith), Cleo (Queen Latifah), and Tisean (Kimberly Elise). Each of them has their own personal reasons for turning to a life of crime, and they soon become successful bank robbers.
However, as they continue to rob banks, the risks become greater and the consequences more severe. The women soon find themselves in a dangerous situation and must use all their skills and resources to avoid being caught by the police.
“Set It Off” explores themes such as poverty, desperation, and the consequences of breaking the law. The movie was directed by F. Gary Gray and also stars John C. McGinley, Blair Underwood, and Ella Joyce.
