Podcast host Mat George proudly posted a picture with his mother supposedly with the legendary hip hop star, Snoop Dogg, but social media was quick to tell him otherwise.
There is a man out there who people call Snoop Dogg’s doppelgänger and it appears he is back at it getting laughs from fans of Snoop. He took a picture with a popular podcast host’s mother as Mat George of “She Rates Dogs” was more than happy to announce it.
He would discover from die hard Snoop fans that he was duped by a look-a-like named Eric Finch, who has been appearing at events as the legend for years.
“I’ve been in LA for a year and haven’t seen a single celebrity. My mom comes for a weekend and meets Snoop Dogg,” wrote George on Sunday. After the tweet started picking up hundreds of responses, he added, “Can everyone stop saying it’s not Snoop Dogg. My mom’s gonna be heartbroken the next time she logs onto Twitter.”

People got a pretty good laugh out of the incident which as the man does look like Snoop. The real Snoop Dogg is about to embark on another performance for his fans at the Once Upon A Time In La festival. There have been other hip hop icons who have look-a-likes such as Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z running around the world as well.
