The Deathrow Records legend, Snoop Dogg, was seeking in secret the release of the co-founder of Death Row Records Michael “Harry O” Harris with a Trump pardon. He was originally slated for release in June 2028. Harris reportedly invested $1.5 million into the label at its genesis, becoming a silent partner in Death Row for a 50% share.
Snoop had been critical of the Donald Trump administration, but still believed there was a possibility of receiving a pardon and he was indeed correct. After successfully persuading the outgoing Trump administration, Harry-O”s sentence for attempted murder and cocaine trafficking has officially been granted clemency.
In a Zoom conversation with Alice Johnson and Weldon Angelos reported by NY Post, the 49-year-old west coast rapper commended Trump, saying, “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”
Snoop continued, “It is amazing what the work of God can actually bring to life to make people understand that there is a God.”
A phone call was given to Snoop when the news was announced, “I just got a call from the White House and Harry-O is getting clemency. He’s coming home, brother!” After hearing the news Snoop exclaimed, “God is good!”
