It appeared to many that Stevie J and Faith Evans had finally found their match after years of going through different relationships, but it appears the two are no more. Their union was controversial to some from the start due to the connection with The Notorious B.I.G. as most fans knew Faith Evans was the ex-wife of the rap icon. Christopher Wallace and Stevie J worked closely together creating music during the foundational years of Bad Boy Records and it seemed odd to some onlookers that the two would marry each other knowing their past connections with Biggie Smalls.

Fans got their first dose of the couple when Stevie and Faith appeared on Love & Hip Hop together and Stevie J started to romantically endear himself to Evans. Stevie J was notorious on the series for his relationship with Joseline Hernandez.  Those concerns were brought up by Faith Evans on the show and was a reason why she was staying away from the producer.

They eventually got back together and in 2018, Stevie and Faith wed in a small ceremony in a Las Vegas hotel room. TMZ reports that they have seen records indicating that the producer filed for divorce from the singer and it is not clear if they had a prenuptial agreement set in place. There have been reported ups and downs in their relationship, especially after it was suggested that they broke up in 2019.

Then, in May 2020, Faith was reportedly arrested following a domestic violence incident. The couple stayed together and reportedly were working on their marriage when Stevie surfaced with a large tattoo of Faith’s face.
