ET’s Kevin Frazier sits down with Suzanne Somers at her home in Palm Springs, California, where the 74-year-old actress dishes on how she was fired from ’Three’s Company,’ reconciling with John Ritter just before his death and filming TGIF favorite ’Step by Step’ with Patrick Duffy.
In an interview with ABC, she also explained why the show was such a hit. One reason for the show’s success? Timing, admitted Somers.
“When you think about it, there was only three choices — NBC, ABC and CBS. So, on any Tuesday night, if you were watching television, usually over half of the country was watching ‘Three’s Company,'” she explained.
