Before T.I. faces off against Jeezy in his Verzuz battle later on tonight, he had something to say on Instagram. T.I. stated King Von’s shooting death in Atlanta needs to be the end of gun violence in his city. He took to social media with a special message.
“Atlanta is a beautiful progressive city filled with black excellence,” wrote the rapper’s management on his page. “We uplift each other & win together. Stop coming here to kill each other. That shit is played out.”
The self-proclaimed King of the South added: “Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city. Thx in advance.”
This message comes after last week’s murder of hip hop artist King Von. He was a Chicago-based rapper who lost his life after being shot outside of an Atlanta nightclub after an altercation with Quando Rondo’s crew. The two large groups were seemingly involved in a fight outside the hookah lounge before guns were drawn. Gunfire was exchanged and three people, including King Von, lost their lives.
Asian Doll, King Von’s girlfriend, recently shared what she heard were Von’s last words on social media and also the 2 year anniversary of the two artists dating.
