The Versuz series caused T.I. wanting to be apart of the concept by challenging New York rapper 50 Cent. The “King Of South” did not get his wish as 50 Cent avoided the confrontation by mocking T.I. as an unworthy competitor. It seemed that a south vs north beef would be the aftermath of their social media back and forth.

It seems it may have been a way to start promoting their names in unison for a new television series that will be headed by 50 Cent. Using social media once again, we were informed by 50 Cent, that Twenty Four Seven, will be the latest TV series he’s producing. It will be starring none other than Tip “T.I.” Harris. Inspired by the book Notorious C.O.P.: The Inside Story of the Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master Jay Investigations from NYPD’s First “Hip-Hop Cop,” the series is set to premiere on CBS at an unknown date. Aside from executive-producing the series through his Grand Hustle Entertainment imprint, Tip will be leading the cast as former NYPD Detective Derrick Parker, who ended up working on several of hip-hop’s high profile cases.
