Fans are celebrating the life of the legendary rapper from the iconic Fat Boys. They were apart of hip hop history in films such as the cult classic Krush Groove.

The rise of Hip Hop in the 1980’s was due to acts such as the lovable Fat Boys. The rap industry mourns the loss of this pioneer in the game. Hailing from Brooklyn, the trio of rappers—Damon “Kool Rock-Ski” Wimbley, Darren “Buff Love” Robinson, and Mark “Prince Markie Dee” Morales—hailed from Brooklyn delivered beatboxing to their songs with rhymes.

On Thursday (February 18), the news broke that Prince Markie Dee passed away.
