Haviah Mighty continues to blaze a path for herself in the world of hip hop with another nomination for her hip hop feats.

Already an award winning artist, Haviah Mighty, is now a nominee for the coveted BET Hip Hop awards. She is nominated for “Best International Flow.” The award was first handed out in 2019 and recognizes the international hip hop scene with past winners of Skepta and Sarkodie.

Mighty is not the only Canadian getting recognized for their craft in 2022, as Drake is nominated for his latest project entitled “Certified Loverboy and Honestly, Nevermind.”

No stranger to awards, Haviah Mighty made Canadian history when she won “Best Rap Album” at the Juno Awards.

During her acceptance speech, the rapper shouted out her loyal fans and gave praise to women in Hip Hop.

“Thank you for the love man, I wasn’t really expecting this,” she said. “I just gotta say thank you so much to my team, thank you so much to Mighty Gang thank you to my family and friends I could not have done this alone. And for those of you who haven’t heard of Haviah Mighty, I’m gonna be back on this stage to show you why I’m here. I’m gonna be performing and, this one is for women in Hip Hop thank you so much.”
