Tory Lanez is one of the more popular artists that is apart of Interscope Records. However, he recently threatened to “expose” the iconic label and let the world know through his social media. Tory Lanez went silent for a bit which caused DJ Akademiks to ponder about his whereabouts.
Tory Lanez returned to social media and left another message towards Interscope.
“To my fellow artist if anything happens to me in any part of this process,” he writes. “I did it all for my upcoming artist to be smarter with these deals and to be in a better position with ya’ll families. And to be aware of the dangers EVEN WHEN THE BUSINESS IS RIGHT!”
Who knows how serious this will get or what exactly Tory Lanez is referring to, but there has been a history of artists who have gone against their record labels such as Kanye West, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Lauryn Hill.
