Tour Of 2pac Home in Cali & Original Death Row Records Studios Location

LEGENDS & ICONS OF HIP HOP - Post By Kevin Douglas

Tupac Shakur was a fan of the west coast for its music and lifestyle of hot weather and luxurious homes.

It came as no surprise that the New York born hip hop legend moved to Los Angeles permanently in his last days. He lived with the daughter of iconic producer Quincy Jones, Kidadda Jones, and was planning to work with her father.

Shakur who was also an actor, living in California made sense in terms of being closer to Hollywood as he was planning to also transition more into the world of movies. Til this day, people in the area of where he lived remember his time in their region.

It’s #TBT as we take a trip down memory lane to the original Deathrow studio location and Tupac Shakur’s California home with a youtuber who visits both locations.
