Naughty By Nature burst onto the scene in the early 1990’s during a time when hip hop was going mainstream with underground acts. Treach caught the public’s attention because of his rapid delivery of lyrics and hard hitting topics in songs such as “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”.
He would eventually become close friends with some of the most legendary stars in the history of hip hop. Treach would work with the likes of Queen Latifah and create a life long bond with the iconic Tupac Shakur. Ironically enough, Treach was also good friends with Shakur’s rival, Notorious Big, which the two men had what would become known as the deadliest rap beef in history.
In an interview with Fat Joe, Treach describes the sometimes tense relationship he had with the “Juice” actor and explains his thoughts on what many people claim was the “golden age of hip hop” below.
