Trump’s Lack Of Pardons Of Revolutionaries Slap In The Face?

On the last day of Donald Trump’s run as president of the United States, he commuted quite a few members of the hip hop community. The iconic Lil’ Wayne and Kodak Black will be coming home to their family, friends, and fans.

Snoop Dogg assisted in getting the co-founder of “DeathRow Records” pardoned which many people are happy to see the man who helped to fund the legendary label return home. One has to wonder, if another legend from the infamous music label were alive today, if we would see the Black Panther revolutionaries Mutula Shakur and Assata Shakur would have been pardoned at the request of one of the more popular hip hop artists (Tupac Shakur) in the history of the industry?

New York vlogger, Hassan Campbell, begs the question and delves into the topic of the controversy of people such as Desiree Perez being pardoned in comparison to civil rights movement figures who paved the way for the future rappers and music industry that they have financially benefited from.
