Drake is always on the charts and have been doing so for a decade. A remarkable feat unto itself, but he reached new levels with his “Scorpion” project breaking streaming records. So it makes total sense that he would become a hot commodity. Everyone knows the drama with Cash Money Records and its lack of payments to artists and producers. Drake, however was under Lil Wayne’s imprint Young Money Records which was under Cash Money Records which meant things were even more complicated when you add Lil Wayne’s complex scenario with Birdman.
