Gemini Man is an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move. During a routine mission, Brogan realizes a younger version of himself, Junior, is trying to assassinate him.
The film is directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ang Lee and produced by renowned producers Jerry Bruckheimer, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger.
To help audiences differentiate between Smith’s two characters, Lee asked the star to act worse as Junior. “He’s like, ‘I need you to act less good,’” Smith said during a press conference. “He would show me some of my old performances of things and would say, ‘Look at this, for a reference. That’s not good. I need you to do that.’”
Gemini Man opens in theaters on October 11, 2019.
