The beloved TV host and entertainer who holds the record for most hours in front of a television camera passed away of natural causes on Friday night, according to his family. He was most well known for being the host of TV shows Live! and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

A family statement to People magazine read: “For his warmth, his legendary sense of humour, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about. We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career and ask for privacy as we mourn his loss.”
He died on Friday of natural causes, People said.
