Drake is readying to release his next big release with “Certified Lover Boy”, but it seems there are some detractors who feel that Drizzy may not be able to match his past success.

Charlamagne recently told the followers of his Brilliant Idiots podcast that he believes the era of Drake is over and he was not expecting much from his next project.

Regardless of proclamations of doom and gloom by some for Drake’s future(Eminem also stated that fans will turn on him too), it can’t be denied that at the moment Drake is indeed at the top of the rap game.

Young Thug believes that once an artist elevates to Drake’s level, Hip Hop may no longer be a profitable option. Young Thug stated in an interview with “Million Dollars Worth Of Game” the following:

“I was talking to the youngins the other day…a Hip Hop artist you can only go so far…. Once you’re Drake level, there’s nothing else you could do. At this point, they’re waiting on you to fall down. It’s no next level unless you go pop or something else. So, I’m always focused on the next level.”

Also during the interview, Young Thug, upset quite a few people when he said he had more memorable songs to perform live than the iconic Jay Z.

“When I perform, I got 30-40 songs that the whole stadium goin’ know,” says Young Thug. He continues to say, “Jay-Z ain’t got 30 songs like that.”
