Lil’ Kim was notorious for her racy rhymes and a new generation has followed suit as Yung Miami trends after NSFW visuals for “Rap Freaks.”
Long time hip hop fans would remember that this is not new as Lil’ Kim had the classic hit “Dreams” and Biggie Smalls’ preceding “Just Playing (Dreams)”—featuring each star’s list of R&B singer fantasies. Taking from the legends playbook, Yung Miami found herself trending online with both her stage name and government name.
Yung Miami declares who she would have fantasies with on her new single that was released early Friday morning. What is catching everyone’s attention is the who’s who of rap game that she name dropped on the song. “Rap Freaks” only lasts for about 1 minute 45 seconds, but she made sure to get in enough names that would shock listeners.
Caresha Romeka Brownlee aka Yung Miami held back no punches as she went straight for the knock out single as we hear her alluding to DaBaby, Lil Baby, and even Lori Harvey. She told Harvey’s ex-boyfriend Future that she’s “nothing like” the daughter of Steve Harvey that is now in a relationship with actor Michael B. Jordan.
Yung Miami didn’t stop at rappers and actors on the single as she also made mention DJ Funkmaster Flex and NFL superstar Tom Brady. A person that she wanted no tryst with was Toronto rapper, Tory Lanez, as the female rapper got messy by ignoring Lanez in favor of his rival Megan Thee Stallion. Miami also name dropped Kodak Black, but not in a positive light as she wanted no parts of the convicted rapper.
