Suge Knight Mentions SKG in TMZ Call as Tupac Trial Coverage Continues
Suge Knight has again entered the public conversation surrounding the Tupac Shakur murder case—this time mentioning Helecia “SKG” Choyce during a recent call to TMZ.
Knight’s appearance came as the trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis continues in Las Vegas. TMZ has reported on Knight’s repeated public comments about the case, including his view that more people were involved than the one defendant currently on trial. TMZ
In the clip shared by SKG, Knight refers to a person he identifies as “SKG” while making claims about people he says are connected to Keefe D and the case. Those statements are Knight’s claims. WWETV has not independently verified them.
SKG responds with her own Death Row-era record
SKG has publicly rejected Knight’s claims. In her response, she shared early Death Row-era photographs and music-credit material connected to her work and history around the label.

Among the visuals is a credits page for Tupac Shakur’s Until the End of Time album that lists “Let Em Have It” featuring SKG. The material supports a documented connection between SKG, Tupac’s posthumous catalog, and the Death Row world—context that matters as her name circulates in current trial-related discussions.
SKG has also previously told WWETV that she credits Suge Knight with making sure her verse remained on the album. She said that placement was hard-earned, explaining that other established female rappers—including Left Eye and Eve—were being considered at the time.
Why the distinction matters
The current Tupac trial has brought decades-old relationships, memories, accusations, and competing narratives back into public view. That makes it especially important to separate:
- what Suge Knight says;
- what SKG says in response;
- what records and historical credits can document; and
- what has been independently confirmed in court.
WWETV will continue to follow verified Tupac Watch developments while preserving the archive and firsthand accounts connected to the story.
