All the Queen’s Men Star Speaks On Ending Of The Series

Racquel Palmer is preparing to close an important chapter as All the Queen’s Men enters its fifth and final season.

During an exclusive interview with WorldWide Entertainment TV, Palmer reflected on portraying the formidable Blue from the beginning of the BET+ drama. Hearing the final season described aloud made the approaching conclusion feel even more real.

“This is my baby,” Palmer said. “We’ve been here from the inception of All the Queen’s Men…being that this is our fifth and final season, it’s sad.”

Palmer explained that she will miss more than the character. She described the cast as a genuine family whose relationships extend beyond filming.

“I know that you see casts from other shows and they all say that they’re family outside of filming, but truly, we are really family outside of filming,” she said.

She also recalled the feeling of arriving at Tyler Perry Studios and seeing the series represented across the property. For Palmer, playing Blue provided an opportunity to embody a tough, no-nonsense character while still showing flashes of tenderness.

The actress said Blue was partly inspired by members of her family from Newark, New Jersey. However, the character’s softer relationship with Dime—played by Candace Maxwell—reflects more of Palmer’s own personality as a mentor and big-sister figure.

Although the series is ending, Palmer is already building her next chapter. Through Palmer House Studios, she and her husband are developing original projects and creating opportunities for actors and other performers who have struggled to be seen.
