Rita Dominic and Racquel Palmer Featured in WWETV’s November BRIC TV Special
WorldWide Entertainment TV’s Woman Shaping The Screen premieres Tuesday, November 3, featuring two recorded interviews exploring Nollywood, filmmaking, and new voices on screen.
WorldWide Entertainment TV returns to BRIC TV this November with Woman Shaping The Screen, a special bringing together two distinct conversations with actor and producer Rita Dominic and filmmaker and actor Racquel Palmer.
The episode connects perspectives from different parts of film and television. In her interview, Rita Dominic reflects on Nollywood’s reach and how Nigerian films found audiences around the world before streaming became commonplace. Racquel Palmer discusses her work in film, including the one-take process behind Tyler Perry’s Doing Life.
The interviews were recorded separately, but share a focus on the women creating, performing, and shaping stories for the screen. The program’s theme, Nollywood to New Voices in Film, highlights the range of experiences represented in the episode.
