WWETV NY: Tupac Files Premieres On BRIC TV August 4 With Mopreme Shakur

WorldWide Entertainment TV NY: Tupac Files will premiere on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, with airings at 1:30AM and 9:30PM. The special will also replay Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 1:30AM and 9:30PM, with an additional replay on Sunday at 9:30PM.

The episode arrives as public attention continues to return to Tupac Shakur’s story, legacy, and the decades-long questions surrounding his 1996 killing. A recent Associated Press report stated that the trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the man charged in connection with Tupac Shakur’s murder, is currently scheduled to begin August 10.

A New WWETV Interview With Mopreme Shakur

The BRIC TV special features a new WWETV interview with Mopreme Shakur, Tupac Shakur’s brother and a key voice in the history surrounding Thug Life, the Shakur family, and Tupac’s larger cultural message.

In the new conversation, Mopreme speaks on the meaning behind Thug Life, the way the public misunderstood the phrase, and how the message connected to family, community, struggle, survival, and legacy.

Rather than focusing only on headlines, the interview places Tupac’s story inside a wider conversation about media framing, the Shakur family’s history, and the message behind the movement.

The special also includes a WWETV archive interview with Dominic Santana, who portrayed Suge Knight in the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me.

Santana’s interview adds another layer to the Tupac Files by looking at how Tupac’s world, Death Row Records, Suge Knight, and the era surrounding All Eyez On Me were portrayed on screen. In the WWETV archive interview, Santana discusses preparing for the role, researching Suge Knight, and studying material connected to Death Row and Tupac’s circle.

Together, the Mopreme Shakur and Dominic Santana segments give the episode two different perspectives: family testimony from inside the legacy and screen-history context from the WWETV archives.

Beyond The Headlines. Beyond The Myth.

The theme of the special is simple:

Beyond the headlines. Beyond the myth.

For decades, Tupac Shakur has been discussed through headlines, court cases, documentaries, biopics, rumors, and media narratives. WWETV NY: Tupac Files looks at the story from another angle — through voices connected to the legacy, the culture, and the way Tupac’s image was shaped after his death.

The episode connects a new Mopreme Shakur conversation with archived WWETV material to explore Tupac, Thug Life, Death Row, family legacy, media framing, and the cultural memory that still surrounds one of hip-hop’s most important figures.
